Woman At Large is a place where women can engage in intentional dialogue about what comes next after a lifetime of obligatory roles fulfilled! This space is for both the meek and the mighty to share individual stories, reflections, and hopes in a judgment-free space offered for community and becoming.
About Me
Like many women, I spent decades immersing myself in the roles that tradition expected of me—daughter, sister, spouse, mother, partner, career professional, and caretaker. Then, one morning, I woke up to find those roles had quietly faded away, and I realized I had questions about who I truly am. It was a feeling of restlessness, both unsettling and quietly thrilling; it inspired me to create this site.
Woman At Large was born from a simple desire for a space where women could come together—whether boldly or hesitantly—to confront the uncertainty that comes with new freedoms, without trying to fit it all into a self-help plan. It’s about genuine conversation, honest feelings shared in a judgment-free environment.
For this project, I hope it evolves into something meaningful, emerging from a place of uncertainty—likely with some awkwardness—yet driven by curiosity and a growing sense of authenticity.
